Starting 2005 with a new project, Rinpoche kindly accepted an invitation to teach in Amsterdam. Wintertime is actually the best time for spiritual teachers to go there- most other teachers are enjoying the good weather elsewhere and only show up in spring or summer, while the dutch locals are craving some light during those dark winter days. The evenings on 'Wisdom and Meditation', the two-day introductory workshop on the Nature of Mind, and finally the Amitayus empowerment were a great joy and inspiration.
