Namkha
Rinpoche
Summer
Retreat
August
2004
Vercorin, Switzerland
During
this summer retreat, which took place in Vercorin, a
village in the midst of the beautiful swiss mountains,
Namkha Rinpoche turned the wheel of Dharma in an extraordinary
way. The first day, he gave two of his students (Rigdzin
Dorje Lhamo and Rigdzin Damchö Dorje) the tantric
vows. Then, He gave the complete transmission and teaching
on the Bardo Thödöl or Tibetan Book
of the Dead, explaining in details each stages of
the bardo. Rinpoche gave as well an elaborate Tchenrezi
initiaion during two days.
For all of its 40 members, this retreat has been just
a marvelous week, which has been celebrated during the
last day by a vast Tsog offering and the display of
the 6 meters high Guru Rinpoche Thangka.
